Robonoid from anime Conan Future Boy printed with Creality Ender Neo 3

Dear all, welcome to my building of the Robonoid from the anime “Conan future Boy”, printed in 3d with my Creality Ender Neo 3.

The Robonoid is a versatile, two-armed, two-legged working robot from the 1978 anime series Future Boy Conan (Mirai Shōnen Konan), produced by Industria. It is operated using three levers, four buttons, and a foot pedal for varied tasks.

I started printing all the pieces, doing the acetone bath and then applying a light primer.

The moving lever were obtained with sewing pins because they looked more stable and less fragile of the trinted parts.

Then as usual a dark gray color and some specific colors here and there (the robot is basically full dark gray in the movie with some metallic parts).

The robot is quite simple, just composed of 8 parts, including the base.

I proceeded to paint all the pieces thhat were of different color of the classic green. I used a primer of deep green and then I painted in lime yellow. The seat and the control gear were painted in black and then colored with aerograph.

I added the pins in place of the levers and painted them as well in black and white. You will see the final result later on.

First i made the main body, without the arms and painted the seat and the levers in order to have the structure ready to decide later how to place the arms.
