Welcome to the build of Star Trek – USS Cerritos NCC-75667 printed with my Creality Ender Neo 2.
I started with the print and a very good refining with filers and different grits. Unfortunately I tried a new filament and it was not so good as the previous. It looks like that it was not completely ABS, so the quality is lower and the treatments with acetone were not so good.
So I made a primer in grey and then I started to apply the first coat of color with airbrush. I chose a darker version of gray

I continued detailing the additional colored parts with darker shades of grey and black on the nacelles.

Continued with the blue phaser arrays and the nacelles. The model is not lit so the operations went quite smoothly.

I had to create the usual insert for the standing rod, that I printed with my printer and inserted in the lower section

At this point I had to create the decals, otherwise it would not be a good result. I found some picture of the original decals and I resized and redid with Coreldraw. The images are here, if you want to download the PDF here it is.

Then the major problem was to have the windows (white) and the NCC logo in white since the printed decals were transparent, so no white. I solved creating a double decal with only the outline of writings and windows, applying them then using a white marker to paint the white inside and then re-appliying a new decal on top of it to cover all the floodings of the ink. Unfortunately I don’t have any picture of the process but the description should be quite straightforward.
So finally this are some of the unmounted parts (top and bottom, with the rod part already assembled.

And these are the pictures of the finished built.

Hope you enjoyed the build !
