Welcome to the building of Star Wars AT-AT from Bandai Spirits No. 5063846 scale1:144
in New box 2022.
You can see the original box here.

Usually I don’t like to paint Star Wars old models, since they are a bit flat and basically white, but since I found this box in Viking Shop in Bucharest while looking for materials I just bought it.
Viking Shop is one of the biggest model shop in Bucharest and can be found at this address: Sos. Pantelimon, nr. 93, la intersectia cu Str. Ritmului, sect. 2, Bucuresti or at this website: https://machete.ro
As usual, the first thing to do is to de-grease the parts with a good bath in water and soap, then a general coat of white primer (in this case) to have a good base for the aerograph paint.
However for this build I tried to mount sections first and than paint them. I used some green coat because I had a spray can to finish and so I used it. I regretted later when I had to put several layers of white to cover the darker color 🙂 .

Then I proceeded to assemble the already painted parts and adding some color where necessary in order to have complete sections done.

And, after a while all the components were ready for the final assembly..

For the base I just modified a bit the base available with the model in order to show the model sinking in the snow and adding some laser stripes. I used an old dremel to scrape the shapes of the feet and the laser stripes. Then I inserted some metal wires to make the model more stable.

I added some weathering after a coat of gloss transparent and finally a coat of matte transparent and the model was done.

Hope you enjoyed this build.
