welcome to a new build. This time is Eagle Transporter from Space:1999.
Unfortunately I don’t have a lot of pictures of this model but the details are here: MPC n° 825, scale 1:40 (quite huge).

As usual I started cleaning the parts in soapy water to remove any trace of oil or silicone.
At first I wanted to create it from scratch, trying to do some paper work, I found a 3d model on internet and I tried to do something myself, here you can see one of the 4 sections over the landing pylons.
But at the same time I found the model on a local shop (Viking Shop in Bucuresti www.machete.ro) and so I bought it. I glued all the sections together and then I put the model in place. The model is completely separable so it can be disassembled for transportation.
Then I proceeded with all the painting. As usual a paint of light grey and then gloss clear transparent and after that the decals.
The decals were not so satisfying, so I downloaded an image of more complete set from internet and I did a complete redraw of the parts with Corelrdraw, then I printed on decal paper and I applied everywhere based on images found on Internet to be more identical to the model used in the show.
I tried to work better on the Command section, painting the inside and the two pilots, then adding a yellow LED just to have it lighted. The head of the Eagle is completely detachable so everything could be done separately. The switch is inside the head too as long as the battery.
So basically the finished model is here, with many pictures.
