LEGO Millennium Falcon n° 75375, 921 Pcs

This is my build for the Lego Millennium Falcon n° 75375 with 921 pieces. There is an unboxing video for who is interested, here on the blog and on Youtube and Instagram/Facebook (as reel).

First of all I wanted to state that I don’t like LEGO nowadays. I loved LEGO when I was a kid because with the blocks you could unleash your imagination and create whatever you wanted, lately they added the Technic pieces that made everything more interesting for creativity.

Then they joined with various brands to recreate with LEGO things that were not supposed to be built with Legos (ah I hate the day when they joined with Disney for Star Wars) and started to flood the market with things that have nothing to do with creativity, but just follow instructions to replicate something commercial.

The worst fact is that they started to create pieces that are specially designed for this purpose, so losing all the initial idea. Even worse, if you follow the instructions closely, you will realize that 30% of the pieces in place are unnecessary and could be rendered with simple blocks. Truth is that all the pain in finding the correct piece are wasted because you can see only the external parts and all the effort is wasted and lost during the build, being this pieces completely hidden under the structure.

However this was a present and though I don’t like too much Star Wars, I indeed spent a good couple of hours in building this model.

You can see the progress opening one bag at the time and the final result.

There is basically no description of the activities because it’s quite straightforward.

And this is the final results, after last bag (11).

Hope that you enjoied the build.
